📢 Office Closure Notice – Labor Day, September 1

The City of Martinsburg offices will be closed on Monday, September 1, in observance of Labor Day.

Labor Day has been honoring hardworking Americans since 1894, when it became a national holiday. Fun fact: it was originally celebrated with parades and picnics to show off workers’ contributions to the country. While we may skip the parades now, we still love the picnics—especially if there’s potato salad involved.

Garbage Pickup Reminder:
Trash collection will be delayed by one day next week. If your regular pickup is Monday, it’ll happen Tuesday, and so on. Don’t worry—we won’t leave your bins hanging for long! 🗑️ Recycling will remain on schedule and regular collection will resume on Thursday, September 4.
